The Belmont Farmers' Market Committee is a member of the Belmont Center Business Association. We support the businesses in the Center and elsewhere in town. Visit them when you come to the Market. We accept SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits; find out how to use your SNAP card at the Market.

Community events

Here are some activities from the past, present and future:

• Seed Exchange and Backyard Chicken Keeping lectures.
• The Pomona project: bringing lignonberry and blueberry plants to Belmont gardners.
• Performances by Belmont residents (adults and children). Would you like to
  perform? Send us a note and tell us what you can do.
• Drawings for $50 Market gift certificates.
• Wine suggestions by local merchants to to with our newsletter article.
• Farmers' Market Week events in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
• The Apple Dessert Contest: Annually in October for the first few years of the Market.
• Pumpkin decorating: Frequently at the end of the season.
• Free food-related movies in 2007.

We surveyed shoppers in 2007 and again in 2011. We found that they're very satisfied with the Market and with parking when they come to shop.
