My Favorite Apple Dessert Contest, 2006

All were eligible for the first ever Belmont Farmers’ Market My Favorite Apple Dessert Contest on October 5, 2006.

The winning recipe was Easy Apple Pie, submitted by Becca Tananbaum.

JudgingA panel of independent judges tasted and judged entries based upon the criteria of taste, appearance, and creativity. Awards were given for the best adult (over 18) entries, and for the best entry in four different youth categories: elementary school (grades K-4); Lower Middle School (grades 5 & 6); Upper Middle School (grades 7 & 8) and High School (grades 9-12).
