Our First Mini Market Makers Day
Where kids can take an idea, turn it into a product, and learn about selling it to shoppers.
Help your child apply below. Or plan to come to the Market and see what local kids have been working on.
Thursday, October 9, 3:30–5:30 PM at the Belmont Farmers’ Market.
We’re excited to host Mini Market Makers Day at the Belmont Farmers’ Market!
Do you have a creative, business-minded child who loves to make and sell things?
We're inviting children ages 8–12 to submit their business ideas for a chance to become official vendors at the market. Whether it’s handmade crafts, original artwork, or other locally crafted or creative (non-edible) products, this is a fun and educational opportunity to explore entrepreneurship in a real-world setting. Our team will support participants as they develop their business plans and prepare for the big day.
Interested? Please fill out the application form below to be considered as one of our Mini Market Day vendors. Let’s support and celebrate the next generation of creative thinkers and makers! Applications are due by [time], [date].
As this is our first year hosting Mini Market Makers, we will be selecting four unique businesses to participate. We hope to include more Mini Market Maker businesses next year. We are seeking creative and purposeful ideas —especially those that address a need or benefit the community."
