Sponsorships, grants & donations

We are grateful to the organizations listed below for sponsorships and grants that support our programs, and to individuals who make donations.

  • Food assistance: We spent over $31,000 in 2023 doubling SNAP and other benefits to help shoppers stretch their food budgets.

  • POP Club: We give kids $3 in Market money each week to buy produce that they want to buy or try. The program is drawing more than twice the number of participants that we expected! Parents and children tell us how how much the kids have learned about local food, budgeting, shopping, saving, and more.

Anne Mahon is a Realtor with Leading Edge Real Estate in Belmont Center, and was top Realtor for Belmont in 2022.

Outside of work, she’s a great booster of Belmont activities. She sponsors well-known organizations like the Belmont Food Pantry, the Foundation for Belmont Education, Belmont Helps and the Parents of Music Students (POMS). She has also supported projects to rebuild playgrounds and gym floors, and to support sports programs and a robotics team. And there are many more.

The Belmont Farmers’ Market is proud to be added to the long list of Belmont organizations that Anne supports. Last year, our food assistance programs gave shoppers over $26,000 to help stretch their food budgets. This year, we started POP Club for kids, a great educational program that’s already seen twice as many signups as we expected. Support from the community is essential to keep these activities going.

Together, we can build a better Belmont.

As your educator in real estate from Leading Edge Real Estate in Belmont Center, I am available to assist you with all things real estate! I know community initiatives add to the fabric of our daily life and serve on the Board of the Belmont Womans Club, as Town Meeting Member for Precinct 3, member of the Belmont Business Center Association and an at-large appointed member of our Community Preservation Committee.

I am excited to sponsor the market. A long-time customer and supporter, I think sponsorship is a great way to show how much I value the Belmont Farmers' Market. I smile every time I see the back parking lot come to life weekly in the summer with local produce, fish, breads, storytimes, the all important community table and newly local art. Keeping our food local and fresh — and available to all — is a mission near and dear to me. Keep it up Belmont Farmers' Market and kudos for a job well done!
